IF IT SOUNDS TOO WEIRD TO BE TRUE, IT'S PROBABLY ON THE FALL SCHEDULE

"Fortune Hunter" -- A spy adventure rich in the tradition of the legendary James Bond and set against a backdrop of international intrigue and espionage. At the heart of it all is suave and self-assured Carlton Dial (Mark Frankel), master agent of Intercept Company, a mysterious global search-and-recovery operation. A man's man, whom women find irrestible, Dial takes his high-stakes assignments seriously, but always with a wink and a smile. With the help of his high-tech wizard associate, Dial has maintained a perfect mission record...so far.

FRESH ACTORS ADD SPARK TO BLAND BLEND

At the other end of the sexual spectrum is Dial, Carlton Dial, super-spy title character of Fox's "Fortune Hunter'' (Sundays at 7 p.m. ET). Played by super-studly Mark Frankel, Dial seems compelled to undress every pretty girl he meets, and in "Fortune Hunter,'' they're all gorgeous.

Frankel, a Londoner, had a recurring role on NBC's "Sisters,'' where he played Simon Bolt, Teddy's cantankerous fiance/business partner. He is a crack tennis player and restores vintage motorcycles for a hobby.
